The mayor of the Shuto Orizari municipality Kurto Dudush sent a letter to Israel’s Ambassador Dan Orian on the occasion of the International Holocaust Remembrance Day

The Mayor of the Municipality of Suto Orizari Kurto Dudush sent a letter to the Ambassador of Israel Dan Oranan in Zagreb, on the occasion of the International Holocaust Remembrance Day.

In his address, he expressed his respect for the Ambassador, as well as for the entire nation of Israel for the great loss during the Second World War.

,, For the survivors of the Holocaust, for the families of survivors and for the families of those who perished, the very least society can do is: Not to forget ! This becomes even more important when society itself has been in part responsible for the damage done.”- mentioned Mayor Kurto Dudush. He also pointed out that the damage that has already been done can not be erased, but by recognizing the pain and condemning the actions, society can assure that such actions will not be repeated.

,,We should not forget the past, we remember!” – said  Mayor Kurto Dudush on his letter.
